What Google data the app uses

When a staff member chooses to open their Gmail in ENC ERP, the app asks Google for permission to read, write, send and organise mail in that person's own mailbox (the Gmail permissions "gmail.modify" and "gmail.send"). For company addresses, the company's Google Workspace settings give the same permission automatically.

What we do with it

• We show the person's own mail to that person, inside ENC ERP, so they can read, reply, forward, search, organise and send mail.
• When the person presses "Log to lead", we save the subject, the date, the sender and a link to the mail on a customer or lead record. We do not copy the body of the mail.
• We keep a short record that a mailbox was opened or a mail was sent (who, when, to whom, subject and size). We do not keep the text of any mail.

What we do not do

• We do not read anyone's mail except to show it to its owner. Administrators of ENC ERP cannot read another person's mail.
• We do not sell, share, rent or give Google user data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
• We do not use it to train any model.
• The app's use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

How it is kept safe

For people who connect a personal Gmail address, the permission Google gives the app (a token, never a password) is stored encrypted on our server and is never shown to the browser. Mail is shown in a locked frame, with pictures off until the person chooses to show them.

Your choices

• Disconnect any time in the Mail screen of ENC ERP. The permission is cancelled at Google and deleted from our server.
• You can also remove it in your Google account: Security, then "Third-party apps with account access".
• Ask us to delete the connection records of your mailbox by writing to info@enclifestyle.com.
